About this babysitting job
Our curious six-year-old is incredibly outgoing and friendly, though, he has been known to negotiate everything from which shoes he wears to bedtime. Our two-year-old is a pretty easy toddler and accompanies us wherever we go (almost always smiling)! We are looking for someone who maintains patience in all interactions, but is firm on upholding schedules. We also hope to find someone who is genuinely kind, caring, and is willing to gently remind our munchkins the importance of using good manners and kind interactions with others. On this occasion my husband and I are going to a show at The Midway down the street, and are looking for someone to hang out with the kiddos before, during and after dinner, leading up to bedtime, and while they are sleeping. Responsibilities will include feeding the kids, playtime (no tv please!), bath-time, story time, putting on pjs, flossing and brushing teeth, and bedtime by 7:30pm. Both our five-year-old and our two-year-old are potty trained. We also hope to find someone who is comfortable around our nine-year-old lab/border collie rescue dog, Bella, who loves people (but not other dogs).
