Hello, my name is Keysha, and I am a 26 year old single mother of four wonderful children, two school-aged boys and two younger daughters. I work full time in corrections in Trion, GA, on a rotating 3 days on, 2 days off schedule, working 12-hour shifts, which makes dependable childcare incredibly important for my family. I currently live in Cleveland, TN. Until recently, my sister has been my main support system, but she will be relocating out of state in early January. Her boyfriend has been helping when he can however, his availability is decreasing due to his work schedule (9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.). He is unable to assist with afternoon pickups and prefers not to handle morning routines every day, which has made additional childcare support necessary. My two boys attend regular school. They get on the school bus at 6:20 a.m. and attend school until 2:30 p.m., followed by the Boys & Girls Club from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. My oldest son is 7 years old and autistic; he is verbal, non-violent, and mostly independent. My younger son is 5 years old and full of energy and enthusiasm. My two youngest daughters, ages 4 and 2, attend daycare from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to my long shifts and commute time, I am often unable to make it back in time for pickups. I typically work from 5:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and with travel and relief delays, I sometimes do not get home until 8:00–8:30 p.m. I am seeking help with afternoon pickups from daycare and the Boys & Girls Club, and caring for the children until I get home. On some days, I may also need assistance with morning routines and getting the children to school and daycare. My children are loving, respectful, and full of personality. I am looking for someone patient, dependable, and kind who will care for them as if they were their own. This support means everything to me, as it allows me to continue providing for my family while knowing my children are safe and well cared for. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
