Hi, my husband and I are looking to find a babysitter. I have a 2.5 year old girl and 2 month old boy. We have never had a sitter who wasn’t close family and our toddler is pretty clingy right now so we’re looking for someone who is confident with handling a few toddler meltdowns at least in the beginning while they get to know you. Regularly we don’t need a sitter very often, as I am a stay at home mom, but we’d like someone who can come to our house to watch the kids for a few hours at a time at our home when we need a night out or help for other occasions. We’re also planning ahead a bit, hoping to build a relationship with our sitter so that we could eventually feel trusting to do an overnight away later next year. If you’re someone or knows someone who expects to be in the babysitting game for the next couple years we’d love to meet you, and would like to know what you’d charge hourly for 2 kids.
