Hello, My name is Kimberly and I am looking for part- time childcare a few afternoons per week, as well as 3-5 hours doing other odds and ends (errands; organizing; walk or drop off dogs are camp.) I have flexibility in terms of which afternoons each week, provided that it is at least two and the schedule is predictable. My kids attend different schools in North County San Diego so key aspects of the job will include driving and coordinating pick ups. The requirements and details on expectations include: 1. 10 hours per week, including 2 PM- 5:30 PM two school day afternoons. (Increase to 20 hours per week during the summer.) 2. Pay $22-25, depending on experience and skill. 3. 1 year commitment. 4. Safe driver, clean driving record. 5. Reliability and good communicator. 6. Experience working with multiple children at the same time (mine are ages 11 and 9). 7. Experience working with neurodivergent kids (preferable) or someone with patience, the ability to pay attention closely and compassion. 8. Comfortable around dogs. 9. Trustworthy and a good role model. 10. Able to do chores while caring for kids (dishes, laundry). 11. Able to help with homework and follow a routine (but sensitive and flexible, if a different plan is needed). 12. The understanding that it's not ok to be on your phone while you're watching kids.
