About this nanny job
About the Kids Two boys (ages 10 & 8) and one girl (age 5) Our 8-year-old has autism & ADHD — experience with neurodivergent children or confident, patient redirection skills are important Kids do best with clear expectations, calm guidance, and consistency Schedule Afternoons starting around 3:00 p.m. 4–10 hours per week (could establish 1 regular evening or every other week care but other hours will be ad hoc (work conflicts, personal commitments, school closures, etc.). Schedule may vary slightly depending on school and activities Responsibilities Engage with children in age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, outdoor play, conversation — not screen time) Help with homework and school-related tasks Prepare simple, healthy meals using real ingredients (either what’s in the house or recipes/instructions we provide) Clean up after meal prep Pick up children from school and drive to local after-school activities (Lake Geneva, Racine, Burlington) Provide calm, respectful guidance and redirection (no yelling; boundaries set through reasoning and consistency) What We’re Looking For Calm, confident, and emotionally regulated Self-motivated and able to manage time independently Comfortable redirecting behaviors appropriately and compassionately Positive role model who communicates clearly and respectfully Low personal technology use while on the job Comfortable in a home with four very friendly cats Requirements Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Clean driving record Experience with children (experience with autism/ADHD strongly preferred) References available upon request.Nanny job details
