We’re looking for a high energy, organized, positive person who loves a vibrant, busy home. This is a two-part role, first, taking care of our two super sweet kids (3 years + 7 years old). They're excited about a kind, fun playmate and caretaker. We’re a screen-free, earbud-free home so we need someone who loves craft projects and is super creative. Second, helping us manage the house, run errands and prepping meals. We are two work-from-home parents with frequent travel for work. We would love help with groceries and meal prep and making some basic meals for the family. We also need help managing tasks in the home: Cooking + groceries Errands + Driving the kids Tidying + dishes + laundry (we have a cleaner who comes 1x per week to deep clean and do sheets, but you would be responsible for all family laundry, daily dishes and basic tidying) Ready for all the random tasks that come up: opening packages + gift wrapping + dry cleaning drop off + restocking soap/toilet paper etc. + organizing Our house runs on a schedule, so we need someone who is punctual, detail-oriented and proactive. Lastly, this position requires occasional last minute overnights when we need to travel for work. Usually, we plan dates ahead of time, but sometimes we do have last minute trips and need someone who can easily do last minute overnights. We occasionally would also love you to travel with us! Self-starter and are great at anticipating needs before asked Have experience in a fast-paced, high-energy households Have a flexible schedule and can do overnights Love kids Loves to cook Are great at time management, are organized and punctual Live within a 15 minute drive of San Clemente and does not have a commute Tech comfortable - we run all our home tasks/lists on Google docs, Google Calendar and Google spreadsheets The kids go to school weekdays so while they are in school we would have you do the house tasks, errands and cooking dinner. Then after picking up the girls we would love for you to play with them, help with homework, feed them meals and do bedtime. We need a lot of flexibility given our work schedule, but tentative hours: 12pm-8:30pm Mon/Wed/Fri 7:30am-5:30pm Tuesday / Thursday 10am-7pm Alternating Sat/Sun - 2 weekend days a month (flexible timing- mostly if we need to travel or have an event) Occasional overnight when travel Compensation: $30 per hour (guaranteed 40 hours a week)
