About this nanny job

Part-Time Childcare Support (Nap-Time Assistance) Our son is currently in a transition period adjusting to daycare. He is generally comfortable with daycare routines, but nap time has been challenging. We are looking for a patient and caring caregiver to support him during nap time after we pick him up from daycare. The primary responsibility will be helping him take a 30-minute nap, usually by walking him in a stroller (occasionally it may take longer to help him fall asleep). Once he wakes up from the nap, we will bring him back to daycare. Responsibilities: • Assist with putting our child to sleep for a short nap using a stroller • Stay with him during the nap to ensure comfort and safety • Communicate gently and calmly to help him settle • Hand him back to us once he wakes up so he can return to daycare Requirements: • Patient, loving, and attentive to children • Prior experience caring for infants or young children • Comfortable using a stroller to help a child fall asleep • Reliable and calm, especially during transitions
