Hi, I'm Sarah with Allies for Allies, an approved UrbanSitter Partner, and we're assisting a family in San Francisco find care for their 7 year old son. Their 7 year old son is bright, curious, and full of energy, with high-functioning autism and ADHD. He has sensory sensitivities, executive functioning challenges, and some balance and fine motor difficulties. He loves geology, science, Pokémon, Among Us, and origami, and often uses his interests as motivation during activities. The family encourages outings and activities while minimizing screen time. Role: The ideal caregiver is silly, funny, easygoing, and can engage him at his level. You’ll help with school pick-up, public transportation, outings, and daily routines, breaking tasks into manageable steps and supporting him through challenges. Comfort with managing behaviors like throwing or dropping objects safely is important. Caregiver Preferences: Loves science, Pokémon, or Among Us Patient, creative, and supportive Compensation: up to $23/hr DOE Hour are flexible but ideal hours are: -Weekdays: M/T/Th/Fri 2pm-6pm and Wed 12:50pm-6pm (school pickup + train home) -Weekends: Flexible 3-4 hours on Sat or Sunday, preferably 10-2pm If interested, we'd love to connect with you!
