About this nanny job

I need consistent after-school care for my 2 children, an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl 2-3 days per week + occasional nights/weekends. This job would involve picking them up from school, taking them either home or to an activity, and playing with them until we are home from work. Approx 2-3 hours each time. School is in SeaTac, home is in South Seattle near Seward Park. At times you will stay at the school to play with them in the gym or at the playground. Dad is a teacher at the school but often has meetings so it is helpful to have someone to play with the kids while he wraps up his day. My 8-year old is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD, so ideally, I am looking for someone who has a heart for and experience with working with neurodiverse kids who can be dysregulated with challenging behaviors, especially after a long school day. They both love physical play (sports, tag, games) so someone willing to run around with them is key! I am looking for someone who would be a great fit with my neurodiverse kids, and is dependably available for these post-school hours. You will need to be able to safely transport kids in your car. I am looking for a long-term relationship with someone who can integrate well into our family.
