Energetic Nanny / Mother’s Helper for Active Family Location: Menlo Park Schedule: Part-Time | 3 Days Per Week (Days Flexible) | 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM (flexible) Pay: $30 per hour (negotiable based on experience) Role Overview We are a busy, loving family looking for a reliable and high-energy Nanny/Mother’s Helper to support us three afternoons a week. We have three children (ages 6, 5, and 2) who are active and curious. This is a dynamic role where some days you will be the primary caregiver for all three, and other days you will work alongside Mom or handle just 1-2 children while she does activities with the other. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include picking up the kids from school and walking them home safely, as well as preparing healthy snacks and overseeing transition time. You will assist the 5 and 6-year-old with basic homework or tutoring and engage all the children in active play like outdoor games or crafts. We also ask for help with light tidying, such as having the kids clean up their toys and snack dishes. Must be flexible for schedule shifts slightly. Dinner prep is a plus! The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has high energy, can keep up with three young children, and stays enthusiastic throughout the afternoon. We need someone reliable and punctual for school release times who is comfortable with a dynamic environment. We think this position would be ideal for a student looking to make some money after classes. Requirements Candidates should have experience with multiple children or a background in an educational setting. Desire to engage with young children. You must be a non-smoker, have the ability to walk the kids home in various weather conditions, and be able to provide excellent references.
