Part-Time Nanny (Infant/Toddler) — Calm, In-Home Role Oceanside, CA (Camp Pendleton Base) We are seeking a part-time, professional nanny to support our family during a busy work and pregnancy season. This is a structured, in-home role designed for someone who prefers limited hours, a quiet environment, and focused care with a single family. Schedule & Pay • Monday / Wednesday / Friday • 4 hours per day (12 hours/week, guaranteed) • $30/hour, W-2 (paid legally) • Initial 8–10 week trial • If the fit is great, hours may increase over time (especially after our new baby arrives), but there is no obligation Children • One toddler (13 months) • Infant arriving later this year Location • Camp Pendleton Base, Oceanside • 4-bedroom townhouse with backyard • Base access required (we will support the process) Care Environment • In-home only — no outings, driving, or off-site activities • Parent works from home • Calm, predictable household • Low-stimulation, routine-based care Responsibilities • Attentive, developmentally appropriate toddler care • Calm play, independent play, routine support • During naps: baby-related tasks only (bottle prep/cleaning, light baby food prep, organizing baby items) • No general housework or unrelated errands Care Style & Fit This role is best for a nanny who brings a calm, gentle, low-key presence, is observant and patient, and is comfortable taking direction from parents. We are not seeking a highly directive, performative, or high-energy caregiving style. Health & Scope Note Because this is a pregnancy + infant household, we are intentionally seeking a nanny who is not currently working in another childcare or daycare setting. This role is designed for focused care with a single family. Payroll • W-2 position • Caregiver must register with TOOTRiS so payment can be processed through an employer-supported dependent care program (we’ll guide you) Ideal Background • Infant/toddler experience • Comfortable with a parent working from home • Emotionally regulated, dependable, respectful of boundaries • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing) This is a thoughtfully structured, part-time role with clear expectations and a defined trial period.
