After-School Caregiver Needed – Autism Experience Required Location: San Francisco, CA — Diamond Heights Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays | ~3:00/3:15–6:00/6:15 pm Pay: $35–$40/hour We are seeking an experienced, calm, and confident caregiver to support a 15-year-old teen with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and Verbal Apraxia during after-school hours. Role Overview: -After-school support following bus drop-off -Light tidying, snack/meal prep, and eating support -Structured activities and emotional regulation support -Tuesdays include accompaniment to a community-based social group (4:45–5:45 pm; location varies) Care Needs: -Support with transitions, routines, and emotional regulation -Gentle redirection and clear, respectful boundaries -Prompts for bathroom hygiene and daily living tasks -Assistance with meal prep and eating Ideal Caregiver: -Female caregiver preferred -Experience supporting teens with autism and developmental disabilities -Calm, structured, and consistent approach -Reliable transportation preferred (not required) -Flexible for additional hours including occasional Saturdays and expanded summer supportNanny job details
