About Our Son: We are looking for an engaging and attentive caregiver for our 4-month-old son, Theo. He is an active, curious baby who truly enjoys playing and learning new things. Currently, his awake windows are about 2 hours between naps, so we need someone who can actively manage that time with developmental play rather than just watching him. About Us (The Parents): We are working parents with busy schedules, but we maintain flexibility with our schedules. Mother works from home while Father is on a hybrid schedule. We pride ourselves on being very communicative and transparent about our needs, and we are looking for a caregiver who values that same level of openness. We view this relationship as a partnership. The Schedule * Current Need: Part-time, approx. 2–3 days per week. * Preferred Hours: We prefer afternoons (roughly 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM). * Flexibility: While afternoons are preferred, we are flexible and happy to adjust the schedule depending on mutual needs. * Future Potential: These conditions may change, and hours will likely increase as Theo grows. We are looking for someone open to evolving the role with us. Duties & Responsibilities * Managing Awake Windows: Engaging Theo during his 2-hour active periods with tummy time, reading, sensory play, and interaction. * Routine Care: Feeding, diapering, and putting him down for naps according to his sleep cues. * Communication: Providing brief updates on how his naps and feeds went during the shift. * Light Maintenance: Washing bottles used during the shift and keeping the play area tidy. Requirements * Experience: Previous experience with active infants (under 1 year) is required. * Safety: CPR and First Aid certified. * Health: Up-to-date on vaccinations (Flu, TDAP, etc.) preferred. * Reliability: Must have reliable transportation. * References: Please provide references from past families. * Pet Friendly: Must be comfortable with dogs as we have three dogs in our home.Nanny job details
