Cupertino
$45 per hour for 1 child

Experienced with infants, toddlers, elementary and middle. I’ve been on Urban since April 2015 so please feel free to browse my many 5 star reviews. Background: -While an undergraduate at Simmons College, I studied early childhood education and worked in an urban preschool for two years with Jumpstart, an AmeriCorps project. -CPR/ AED trained and certified by the Red Cross -Oakland CORE certified (Earthquake & Disaster Preparation) -My reviews are nearly all 5 stars. -I live in Cupertino (formerly from Boston) and am obsessed with hot yoga and once upon a time Sailor Moon. I’d be happy to be a healthy influence on your family and assist with household coordination. MY STYLE - Waldorf/ Montessori influences - I encourage creative & imaginative play along with self organizing and cooperation for older children. - For the pre-school and under crowd, I participate in parallel play and getting on the child’s level. - I love taking children outside to play or for a stroller walk. We will read books together (maybe even make one together) and on the whole I’ll be that new age sitter who isn’t too fond of screen time and would rather we go to the playground or explore fractal patterns in pinecones. 😋🌲 Thank you! -Jane

I am a nurse practitioner (current practice owner) who never had children of my own and have always wanted them. I have medical experience beginning at Children’s Hospital in DC on their behavioural psychiatry unit, my nursing internship was a Cambridge hospital on the pediatric behaviour program. After becoming an NP in 2005, I spent several summers as a camp nurse at the Barrie School in Silver Spring, MD. I have also worked with their 4 year olds for aftercare and substituted in the baby room when needed. My other experience includes being the lead NP at JHH on their Meyer 6 unit for 4 years and some time in the Anesthesia department. Working with children has been my most fulfilling work. My extensive care of children in various situations should make any parent feel confident in choosing me as a caregiver.

Hi, my name is Winnie! I’m 26 years old and recently moved to Rhode Island from Boston, MA. I offer childcare, pet care, house sitting, and household services. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work with a certification in trauma. I currently work as a clinical social worker at Boston Medical Center, and caring for others has always been at the center of my life. I began working with children at 16 in a small daycare in East Boston, where I am originally from. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with infants, toddlers, and children of different ages. My responsibilities have included: • Creating engaging curriculum for toddlers in both English and Spanish • Managing daily schedules, including naps and mealtimes • Leading crafts, circle time, sensory play, and outdoor activities at the park • Completing medication reports and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment My passion for working with children has grown through these experiences, and I continue to bring patience, creativity, and reliability to every family I work with. Along with childcare, I can also assist with household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and running errands to help make your day-to-day life a little easier. I am allergic to cats, but I’m more than happy to care for dogs. I am hoping that we can connect soon!

Emily Boston
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a rising senior at Simmons University studying Nursing. I am currently offering childcare, senior care, and household services. I have over four years of babysitting experience working with school-aged children, as well as two years of experience in a daycare setting caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These experiences have helped me develop the patience, flexibility, and creativity needed to care for children of all ages while ensuring they are safe, engaged, and having fun. As a nursing student, I am certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. My education and clinical experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and provide compassionate care. Through my nursing clinicals, I have also worked with older adults and am comfortable assisting with senior care. I love creating fun and interactive experiences for children, whether that means making crafts, playing board games, having dance parties, reading stories, helping with homework, or joining an imaginative dress-up adventure. If your child needs a princess, pirate, superhero sidekick, or tea party guest, I am happy to play the part! I am primarily looking for occasional babysitting opportunities and date-night coverage. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your family, and I strive to provide dependable, attentive, and engaging care that gives parents peace of mind while they're away. I look forward to connecting with your family and learning how I can best support your needs!

$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi!! My name is Jada. I am currently a full-time college student working on my bachelors at Simmons university in Boston. I am majoring in psychology with a minor in Spanish. My intention post undergraduate is to complete my education and receive a counciling degree. I would like to become a therapist specializing in children and adolescents. I like to sing, I play a couple of instruments, and I'm currently learning how to crochet. I've babysat on and off for neighbors, family, and friends (or friends of friends) since I was about 15. My longest babysitting job was about a year looking after a 4 month old and a 4 week old once a week. Unfortunately after I graduated high-school I was unable to keep looking after them, as my college is in Boston and they weren't looking for a sitter over the summer. I am looking for a family that needs assistence before my school starts (August 20th). I am bright, empathetic, emotionally intelligent, patient, and reliable. I am also red cross certified in first aid, CPR, and AED usage.
