Hello! My name is Darcy and I have 7 years of experience of working with children in different age groups throughout different work and volunteer roles that I’ve taken on. I’ve been doing volunteer work with the children’s ministry and youth group at my church for 6 years. I also worked at a pediatric surgery center for a little over year. And I do occasional babysitting jobs. I also started volunteering with a nonprofit called Youth Inspiration Nation Inc. last year so I’m constantly working with kids. Hello my name is Yancy. I recently graduated from SIUC with a BA in psychology. I have taken courses in child development. I have also worked at a daycare. I was a lead teacher to a classroom or about 15-20 students ranging from the ages of 3-5. But I also have experience working with infants and other ages. I am CPR certified.

I have been in child care in many different capacities for ten years and have experience with children of all ages. Having been a household manager, nanny, and even an au pair I have seen a little bit of everything. Currently I live on the north side of Chicago but I have my own car and am more than comfortable traveling. I have an undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois as well as a background in linguistics. Currently I am a career nanny but I also attend law school in a blended program. I am Red Cross first aid, CPR, and lifeguard certified as well.
