I have over 14 years of experience taking care of newborns, infants, toddlers, elementary school aged children, middle school aged children, preteens, and teenagers. I have provided childcare to over 300 families. I am a reliable, fun, patient, friendly, responsible, and caring babysitter. I have lots of experience babysitting multiple children at a time (up to 5 kids). I have experience feeding newborns, changing diapers, giving and making bottles, cooking meals, getting children ready for bed and putting them in bed, creating exciting games, driving children, and much more. I am also a fan of music, acting, and arts and crafts. I know of several simple and appropriate art projects for children of all ages and abilities. I do not mind doing light chores such as dishes and laundry. I own a car, and I transport myself to and from jobs. I am able to drive children to and from activities. I hope to fulfill my lifelong dream of working with children for many more years to come. I enjoy watching children grow and mature, as well as creating awesome relationships with families. I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids.
