I love Children!!! I have extensive experience with all ages from newborn infants, babies, toddlers young children through junior high age in high school. I am experienced watching groups of kids, i’ve watched up to 8 if their ages are spread out, and they play well together, some same age - wedding and events! I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids. Tutoring of course can be included in the services listed.

Hi there, I'm Rachel from Australia. I've worked with children for 15 years whilst travelling the world and absolutely love it! My experience includes: - Summer Camp Counsellor at Mountain Camp in California where I lived with, and was responsible for a cabin of 10 girls. I led outdoor activities including yoga, dance and drama, ropes course, lake activities and biking and hiking for children between 5 - 13 years old. - Teaching Assistant in the UK at a private school (Gad's Hill) working with children aged 3 - 16. This included assisting with daycare, english, math, art classes, taking swimming lessons and after school care. - Casual nannying jobs looking after infants - 15 year olds. - Ski instructing in Canada for 5 - 17 year olds. I have my level 2 CSIA ski instructor certification so can provide ski lessons and on-mountain care, depending on your child's ability level. I'm a big kid at heart and relate very easily with children, I'm also organised and believe that some structure can be really important. I currently work with a family a 2 days a week but am flexible, I am also available weekends & occasional events. I have a Masters degree and started a small local business. I do not have kids of my own, but I love teaching children & helping other local families. I also enjoy cooking healthy kids meals + encourage outside time.
