Hi my name is Ally! I currently work at a Childcare Center, Monday to Friday, and I have been working with toddlers for six years at my current center. As well as in college I worked with elementary school age children for 4 years. I have a an energetic, fun, bubbly personality. My childcare experience encompasses caring for children of all ages. I am a Teacher's assistant/Para Educator for Sunnyvale School District during the school year (Aug-June),going into my 9th year this fall. I primarily work with Preschool aged children in a Special Day class and Inclusion Classroom settings, with both typically developing children and students with Special needs. I'm married and a mother of a 21 year old, 18 year old and a 14 year old with high functioning Autism and ADD. My two younger children and myself are competitive athletes, so when we are not competing or training, I'm looking for a way to use my free time helping others and earning a little bit of extra money to fund my children's endeavors as well as pay the bills during my summer hiatus as an Educator. Prior to working as an educator, I spent 10 years as a stay at home mother raising my children as well as caring for other infants, toddlers and school aged children throughout my adult life. In my spare time over the past 3 years, I have been studying Early Childhood Education and have obtained 10 ECE units while working towards my AA in PreK Education. Throughout my years working with children I have undergone various trainings including but not limited to: Trauma informed practices/care for children, Personalized Oral Language Learning (POLL), Early learning through Play, Mandated reporter Training, Sexual harassment prevention, Safety Care and CPR/First aid. I'm a very active person and enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, reading, music and exercise. I'm able to run, crawl, climb, jump, dance and be active with kids as needed! I am also fluent in Spanish! I love animals and I have a dog, cat and chickens, so I'm open to helping care for pets as well! I have had my class C drivers license for 20 years (additionally class M for 3 years), full coverage auto insurance and a reliable personal car which accommodates 7 passengers total. A last piece of info about me, is that prior to becoming a mother I worked for Merry Maids and am no stranger to cleaning as well as cooking and running errands. Hi- My name is Bella. I work Monday- Thursday and am looking for a babysitting job for Fridays. I am the oldest of 3 and started babysitting when I was 15. I have 10+ years of experience with ages 4 months and up. I have 7 yrs of experience working with children with Downs Syndrome as well. I am comfortable with kids going through periods of being fussy or having a hard time being away from their parents. I like to keep them engaged with whatever fits their developmental stage whether that be reading books, singing, going to the park, or playing games around the house. If the kids have chores or responsibilities around the house I will make sure they get done if needed. I am CRP and first aid certified and have had experience with medical emergencies. Those moments showed me the importance of being trained in life saving procedures. I am proud to say in those moments my training helped me stay calm and take appropriate action. I have a Honda Civic and don’t mind taking kids places or running errands. I am open to light house keeping like dishes, laundry, and cooking. I grew up in Petaluma and am very close with my family.
