I love playing games with them and going to park whenever I am back home and spent a lot of time with them before moving to DC. I started babysitting in high school and also worked at a local gym in their Kid Zone. There, I’d create and lead crafts, organize games, and maintain and safe and fun environment. Hi, my name is Aina and I am a third year at George Washington University. I am currently studying abroad in Colombia and will be back in DC mid January. I am normally looking for occasional babysitting opportunities with children ranging from 2-12 years old. When it comes to child care I have been babysitting for two years in the Atlanta and D.C. area. In addition, I have one full year's worth of experience being an after school teacher for kindergartners and first graders at East Valley Elementary school in Marietta, Georgia. At that job, myself along with a co teacher were responsible for upwards of 20 students each day and in a school environment, that was quite manageable, and I know it'd be an even more enjoyable experience if I had more attention to give to fewer children. I also have college experience part time babysitting with multiple families, three of them who I worked with on a consistent basis. I have lots of energy to give when it comes to caring for children and I can find creative ways to keep them engaged and entertained. Working with children is rewarding for me because I remember how much the adults, beyond my parents helped create wonderful memories during my childhood.
