Hi! I’m Ava, a Yale grad and former Division I swimmer with a passion for working with kids. I studied English at Yale with a concentration in Writing, and spent a year as a Teacher’s Aide at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, where I worked with students across multiple grade levels. I also spent 3 years as a swim instructor at Empire Swim School in Tarrytown, teaching kids of all ages and skill levels to swim, so I’m very comfortable working with children in all kinds of settings. Additionally I have years of experience nannying and babysitting kids of all ages. As a varsity athlete who trained 20+ hours a week, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and structure to everything I do. I love babysitting, and have been doing so since the age of 14. I grew up watching my younger cousin, as well; so I have experience with children in all growth stages, ranging from toddler to preteen.
