I grew up looking after younger siblings and cousins, and have helped out friends and family as a babysitter over the years, so I'm comfortable with the rhythms of caring for little ones even if it's not my full-time world. I'm creative by nature and training, and I'd love to bring that into time spent with kids, teaching them to draw, paint, work through a puzzle, or just make something fun with whatever's around. I speak Arabic fluently too, which kids tend to find pretty exciting. One small thing: I'm allergic to cats, so homes with cats aren't a great fit, but dogs are totally fine by me! Hi! My name is Sofia, and I’m going into my junior year at Caldwell University, where I’m a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team. I’m responsible, reliable, and love working with kids of all ages. I come from a big, close-knit family and have been taking care of my younger cousins and family members for as long as I can remember. Spending time with kids has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and have fun. (I also have two cats and a dog.) As a college athlete, I’m energetic, patient, and know how to keep children engaged while making sure they’re always safe.
