Hello! I am a loving, playful, creative professional Ballerina, Early Childhood Educator, and Nanny. I have been a regular part time nanny for multiple families in NYC for the past 10 years. (I am actually still with a family that I met when I first joined Urbansitter- through the birth of their second child and a move!) I strive to provide a loving, peaceful environment, and to nurture all areas of development for these wonderful little humans. In addition to more than a decade of hands on experience, I have been trained in childhood development through movement with Dionne Kamara, and through sensory play with Jennie Monness at Union Square Play. I have since joined the staff there as a Lead Educator and a Co-Creator of the ‘Dance! Play! Ballet!’ curriculum. I have experience working as a preschool teacher, nanny, babysitter, and in after-school programs. In pediatrics, I help with developmental milestones, language skills, and fine/gross motor skills. I’ve worked with clients ages 0-16 years old. I was also a certified ABA therapist for 2 years, working with children with autism, focusing on developing communication, social skills, and life skills. I have background and knowledge on proper positioning, feeding, tummy time, and developmental stages for infants. I have been a child care provider for families for 13 years and have been an Urbansitter for almost 10 years. I am CPR certified (infant CPR certified as well).
