$19 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Zamora, CA

Hi - My name is Annie and I'm currently a junior at UCDavis. I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since the age of 16 years old. My responsibilities have included assisting with homework, projects, preparing meals and many other duties. I also currently work as an after school teacher at an elementary school in Sacramento on Mondays and Fridays. I’m also very hands on and great at multitasking. I’ve been helping clean and take care of the house while growing up so I do well with cleaning and other household chores. I also currently live on campus, living independently so keeping up the cleanliness in the living space is a must. I’ve been raised with pets throughout my life from hamsters to German Shepards, taking care of animals throughout the time with them has been challenging but rewarding at the same time. I’ve volunteered for 3 years at a local animal adoption agency where I helped advertise the adoptable cats to potential homes at events, cleaned their cages, fed and entertained them.

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Zamora, CA

My name is Monserrat and I am a sophomore at a community college. I lived with my aunt since my sophomore year of high school, and she has two beautiful little girls. One of them was born during my junior year of high school, and the other one was 4 years old at the time. I took care of them several times when my aunt and uncle went on dates and trips. Before moving in with my aunt, I used to live in Mexico, where I was the youngest cousin of my family. All my older cousins played with me and took great care of me while growing up, and I will always be thankful to them for that. Growing up, I had the most joyful childhood thanks to my family that took care of me at all times and never made me feel left out for being the youngest one. While living with my aunt, I spent most of my afternoons with my cousins. When my aunt was busy working, I would help by cooking for them, feeding them, playing with them, and when the older one of my cousins made it to school, I helped her with projects and her homework. After so many years living with my aunt and seeing my cousins grow up, it was very sad for me to move out, but it made me so happy when I saw my cousins make beautiful drawings for me and tell me that they would be waiting to see me back during school breaks.

She melted my heart; her patience and nurturing care for my son gave me the confidence to work that week without worry. She is punctual and professional. My son felt safe with her.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
