I’m Haley, I’m a Lakeview East resident mainly looking for part time work baby sitting! I have 8 years of childcare experience under my belt. I am currently teaching theatre classes part-time in the Chicago area and most recently assistant taught a 3-4 year old classroom at a daycare full time. I also have experience nannying/house managing, facilitating after school programs, teaching swim lessons, and being an inclusion aide. Most of my experience is with 3-5 year olds but I have experience working with kids from age 1 to 12. I have a handful of ECE certificates from Gateway including pediatric first aid/CPR certification, mandated reporter certification, ECE level 1 credentials, Trauma Informed practice, SIDS and SBS prevention, and a Food Handlers certificate. Hello! I'm Medb and I use they/them pronouns. I'm 22 years old and am a psychology and statistics student at Cal Poly Humboldt, though am currently home in Lincoln Park for the summer. Since I was 12, I've worked for an organization called CircEsteem, a youth circus located in Uptown. There, I was a counselor, coach, and mentor for kids ages 2-17. I was immersed in a very diverse environment, and gained experience caring for children with different support needs. I also have taken care of infants as young as 3 months. As a sitter, and more broadly as an individual, I ground myself in the values of empathy, creativity, community, and self-esteem. Through play and art, I hope to aid in teaching kids the importance of loving ourselves and others. Additionally, I have worked as a tutor for both grade school and high school students and am always happy to help with homework. Hello! I have a genuine love for kids and enjoy spending time with them, whether it's playing games, helping with homework, and more. For a family, I provided care for their three-month-old, two-year-old, and their four-year-old. This involved managing diverse needs and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for each child. Caring for others is second nature to me (oldest sister of 5), I have always strived to create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for everyone around me (including fur babies as well).
