Hi! My name Is Marietta, I am 28 years old with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. I also went to UNC Charlotte for graduate school and majored in Biomedical Sciences. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I worked at the YMCA for 6 years as an after school elementary and middle school counselor as well as a summer camp counselor. My responsibilities included planning, organizing, and conducting age appropriate activities. I also have plenty of experience nannying children of all ages as well as children with disabilities. I have been working recently with seniors, assisting them with their daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, getting to and from activities, meals and more. I have always had a passion for working with children, My goal is to become a Physician Assistant and specialize in pediatrics! I currently work at Attium Health Levine Cancer as an oncology research specialist

My passion for childcare began at my aunt’s in-home daycare, where I helped care for 6–8 children afterschool. I enjoyed feeding them, playing, and creating fun, memorable experiences. That early foundation led to four years of full-time experience with Sittertree and Care.com, two of the most trusted childcare platforms. I’ve cared for children from newborns to age 13 and have hands-on experience supporting kids with ADHD, autism, and Asperger’s. I’m CPR certified and bilingual in English and Spanish, which has been especially helpful for many of the families I’ve worked with. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology (focused on family life studies). On Sittertree I was favorited by more than 70 families, and many of those relationships continue today. Those families still regularly reach out when they need reliable care. Hi, my name is Kaidence! I’m currently a student at UNC Charlotte majoring in Exercise Science. Most of my childcare experience comes from being the oldest sibling and cousin in my family, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with children of all ages.
