I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a major in psychology and several courses on child development. I am CPR certified, and currently work as a case worker for at risk youth in Charlotte. I have worked at the Ronald McDonald house in the UES for children with cancer. I worked at the YMCA at the day care, And also an after school teacher helper for the Richmond district in San Francisco. I was a camp counselor for kinder through first grade. I had about 40 kids in my group and the ratio was always 12:1. I also worked with a program that helped students from low income families reach their grade reading level. I was one on one with about 6 students a day, and I built strong relationships with each and every one of my students. I helped them reach their goal, and gave them the support and resources they needed to do so. I have been a nanny for 10 years and love it!

Hi! My name Is Marietta, I am 28 years old with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. I also went to UNC Charlotte for graduate school and majored in Biomedical Sciences. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I worked at the YMCA for 6 years as an after school elementary and middle school counselor as well as a summer camp counselor. My responsibilities included planning, organizing, and conducting age appropriate activities. I also have plenty of experience nannying children of all ages as well as children with disabilities. My passion for childcare began at my aunt’s in-home daycare, where I helped care for 6–8 children afterschool. I enjoyed feeding them, playing, and creating fun, memorable experiences. That early foundation led to four years of full-time experience with Sittertree and Care.com, two of the most trusted childcare platforms. I’ve cared for children from newborns to age 13 and have hands-on experience supporting kids with ADHD, autism, and Asperger’s. I’m CPR certified and bilingual in English and Spanish, which has been especially helpful for many of the families I’ve worked with. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology (focused on family life studies). On Sittertree I was favorited by more than 70 families, and many of those relationships continue today. Those families still regularly reach out when they need reliable care. I bring patience, creativity, and a calm, structured approach to every sitting job, whether it’s a one-time date night or ongoing care.
