I was a teacher for 14 years, working with students from PreK through 8th grade, including special needs. I’m comfortable with kids of all ages and experienced in managing routines, behavior, and creating a structured, supportive environment. In addition to homework help, I can provide tutoring and more intensive academic instruction when needed. I have experience differentiating instruction, reinforcing foundational skills, and helping students build confidence in reading, writing, and math. I now work in real estate, which has strengthened my organization, communication, and reliability. I’m patient, responsible, and calm under pressure. I’m also comfortable with light household tasks and meal prep. I have pets of my own (a dog, cat, and bunny), so I’m very comfortable with pet care as well. I am in my sophomore year of Early Childhood Education at ETSU. I’ve done a full year of shadowing and enjoy my time around kids. I’m often described as cheerful and think on the bright side. I love kids of all ages, and have lots of experience working with kids of a younger age. I was held in high regard by my culinary chef in high school and often was asked to prepare foods and dinning for important events inside and outside of school. I worked in the kitchen for 3 years in high school, both class and club., so I am confident in preparing many different meals.

Growing up a decade older than my little brothers, I had a ton of experience caring for them as they grew from babies to toddlers to kids! I also have experience with kids ages 7-10!
