About Linda P. EDIT I have always enjoyed working with children. I started babysitting in junior high and by the time I was in high school I had an afternoon job at a local day care center. I went on to get my teaching degree in Elementary Education and taught five years of third grade and a year of kindergarten. After having three children of my own and taking some time off I went back to teaching but decided to try preschool instead and ended up teaching 8 years of it. After teaching elementary I was surprised at how much I loved working with the little ones. I was the lead teacher for a 3 and 4 year old class for 5 years and my last three years I taught a 5 day a week k-4 position. Over the last 10 years I’ve been doing part-time /full time Nanny jobs. I have worked for over 18 families and have taken care of over 41 children ranging from newborn to 12 years olds. I have enjoyed using my teaching skills and early childhood training to create a loving , nurturing, fun and safe environment for each child I take care of. I appreciate all the opportunities I have had to work with such wonderful parents and their amazing children.

Hello Parent(s)! My name’s Sandra! I’m currently enrolled at NOVA. I’m studying Criminology. I’m also taking online summer classes on Monday’s’ at six and Wednesdays’ from 12-9. I come from a family of five whom I love dearly. I have 5 years of babysitting experience from children 3 years old up to 12 years old. I love caregiving because, I love giving guidance and being a role model to younger kids. I am the middle child out of both my sisters, so not only do I have a role model but I can be one to my younger sister and an emotional/mental support system. I am allergic to dogs, but I am getting my allergy shots soon! Willing to work with children, as long as there is distance between furry animals!
