Reliable Evening Babysitter Needed for Fun 5-Year-Old Boy – Single Dad Household! I’m a dedicated single dad in Ridgewood looking for a trustworthy, patient babysitter to help with my energetic and sweet 5-year-old son during 2nd/4th Tuesday evenings (6:45-9:45PM). I’ll be out during these times, so you’ll be the sole adult in the home – just calm, focused care for a smooth bedtime. Main Duties (Simple Bedtime Routine): • Light playtime to wind down (toys, Legos, cars, or imaginative games) • Warm milk • Brush teeth, Quick wash, Potty and get into pajamas • Read favorite bedtime stories • Sit quietly with him until he falls asleep (he’s usually out fast with a consistent routine!) No cooking, cleaning, or transportation needed. Who I’m Looking For: • Experience with young boys around preschool age (comfortable being sole caregiver) • Calm, engaging, responsible, and great at gentle guidance • Reliable, punctual, and good at sending quick updates (texts/photos appreciated!) • CPR/First Aid certified is a plus • Non-smoker Pay: $20-25/hour (based on experience) + paid trial shift. Safety and comfort come first – we’ll do a paid meet-and-greet so my son can get to know you, and everyone feels good about it. References required.
