About this nanny job

I'd like to find an afterschool sitter once a week. Pick up from school, walk her home, do indoor/outdoor activities, homework, etc. Light meal prep, dinner, read books and get ready for bedtime. Maybe occasional additional evenings based on your availability and possible overnight babysitting when on work travel. I'd also be interested in a live-in babysitting arrangement in exchange for an extremely reduced rental rate (with the above set babysitting times). We have fully renovated basement unit with its own entrance, all utilities included. This would probably work well for a college student at Catholic University which is close by or young professional just starting out. I'm a single mom of a lovely, fun, 5 year old girl. She is delightful and sweet and sassy. I have lots of work flexibility and am able to work from home often. However, as my daughter as gotten older and more independent, I'd like to get back to saying yes to a lot of the work travel and opportunities I have said no to. And also an occasional personal dinner with friends without being interrupted would be nice :)
