Part-Time Weekend + Occasional Weekday/Date-Night Care for Active 3-Year-Old (Longmont) We’re a Longmont family looking for a reliable, experienced caregiver for our 3-year-old son, Liam. Liam is active, playful, and curious. He loves engaging play, staying busy, and getting outside when possible. We’re hoping to find someone who enjoys working with toddlers and can comfortably manage a full, active day. Schedule: Primary need: Full-day Saturdays (approximately 8–9 hours) Additional needs: Occasional weekday daytime care (as needed) Occasional evening/date-night care We’re looking for someone interested in ongoing, consistent care, not just one-off babysitting. Care Location: Saturdays & weekday daytime care: Care would take place in the caregiver’s home, as one parent works overnight shifts and needs a quiet house to sleep during the day. We’re looking for someone comfortable hosting Liam for full-day care in a safe, child-friendly environment. Date nights: Care would take place in our home. We would plan ahead to get the caregiver fully comfortable with Liam’s evening and bedtime routine so date nights feel smooth and low-stress for everyone. About Our Family: One parent is an Assistant Golf Professional at Twin Peaks Golf Course The other is a weekend overnight Labor & Delivery nurse at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital We’ve had a wonderful sitter for the past few years, but she now lives in Loveland, so we’re hoping to find someone local to Longmont for convenience and consistency. Daily Care Expectations: Engage Liam in play and age-appropriate activities Prepare and/or serve meals and snacks Manage afternoon downtime (he previously napped once a day but is likely transitioning out of naps) Provide a safe, structured, and caring environment Bonus (not required): Comfortable taking him on walks or to nearby parks for outdoor play Ideal Candidate: Experience caring for toddlers (ages 2–4) Comfortable hosting a child for full-day care in their home CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified) Dependable, patient, and communicative Enjoys active play and being outdoors when weather allows Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience We value clear communication, reliability, and building a positive long-term relationship with our caregiver.
