We are looking for a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to join our family in Hinsdale and care for our two young children. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early childhood development and a nurturing spirit, providing a safe and engaging environment for both children while supporting their unique developmental milestones. This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and can help with the kids- you will only need to take care of 1 child at any given time. Your primary responsibilities will include structured play, reading, and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage independence and curiosity. We value a Montessori-inspired approach, so we are looking for someone who can guide our toddler through practical life skills and gross motor activities. Daily care for the newborn will involve feeding, maintaining a consistent nap schedule, and ensuring all hygiene needs are met with a gentle touch. Light tidying up after the children’s activities and handling their laundry will also be part of the daily routine to keep the household running smoothly. We are also looking for someone who can help with light cleaning around the house. Our home includes a friendly cocker spaniel named Sherlock, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable around dogs, though no formal pet care is required. We are seeking a long-term fit with a clean driving record and up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19 and Tdap, as well as current infant CPR and First Aid certification.
