About this nanny job

We are a professional couple working from home (WFH) with a happy 7-month-old baby. We value a respectful, honest, and collaborative environment. We believe in scientific parenting and are looking for a partner to help our baby grow and learn in a supportive way. Schedule & Transition Current: Part-time, 3-4 days a week (Monday – Friday). Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Future: We are looking for a long-term fit. This role has the potential to convert into a Full-time position if it is a good match for both sides. Key Responsibilities - Active Engagement: Focus on age-appropriate play, reading, singing, and encouraging motor skill development (crawling, sitting). - Respectful Interaction: We value the baby's focus. We prefer a nanny who observes and follows the baby’s lead during play rather than interrupting their natural exploration. - Daily Care: Handling feedings (bottles and solids), diapering, and maintaining a consistent nap schedule. - Light Baby Chores: Keeping the nursery tidy, washing baby bottles, and baby’s laundry during nap times. What We Are Looking For Transparency & Honesty: We need someone who follows agreed-upon routines and is comfortable with open, honest communication regarding the baby’s day. Experience: Proven experience with infants (6–12 months). Knowledge of developmental milestones is a huge plus. Communication Style: Someone who is proactive and enjoys interacting with a baby to help with language and social development. Reliability: Someone who is punctual and takes their professional commitment seriously. Requirements Legal work authorization. Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, Tdap, etc.). Excellent references from previous families. Non-smoker.
