About this nanny job

We are a warm, family-oriented household looking for an enthusiastic, loving, and dependable date night nanny to care for our three young children. We have three children: • A 5-year-old (fully potty trained) • A 2-year-old (in diapers) • A 4-month-old baby (in diapers, bottle-fed) Our home is calm, loving, and structured. There are no pets in the house. • Schedule: Every other week • Shift length: 4 hours per shift • Time: Evening hours (exact start time will be discussed) • Pay: $24 per hour • Paid consistently for each scheduled shift This is meant to be a reliable, recurring date-night position rather than a one-time or on-call role. Your main role is to provide safe, attentive, and loving care for our children while we are out for the evening. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with kids, helping them wind down, and keeping things calm and organized. • Preparing dinner or snacks for the children • Making sure kids eat safely and calmly • Cleaning up dishes after meals • Wiping down eating areas Evening routine includes: • Washing hands • Brushing teeth (for older kids) • Getting kids into pajamas • Reading bedtime stories • Helping them settle into bed This is not a housekeeping job, but we do ask for light cleanup related to the kids’ activities. This includes: • Cleaning dishes used during your shift • Wiping down counters or table after meals • Tidying the playroom after playtime • Putting toys back in their place Ideal Candidate Qualities • Experience caring for infants and young children • Comfortable changing diapers and feeding bottles • Able to manage bedtime routines • Enjoys playing games and doing activities with kids • Communicates clearly and respectfully • Shows up on time and is reliable • Trustworthy and safety-focused CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not required (willingness to obtain is appreciated).
