Experienced Infant Nanny – Long-term Role Location: Oakland 94611 Start Date: Flexible About Our Family We are a warm, thoughtful family with a six-month-old son, currently on parental leave and preparing to transition back to work in the coming months. We’re looking for a nanny who wants to grow with our family long-term. We value clear communication, reliability, and a calm, nurturing approach to infant care. The Role This role can begin part-time in February (flexible on exact start date) and increase to full-time by mid-March. During the ramp-up period, we expect overlap and collaboration as we transition caregiving responsibilities. Responsibilities include: -Loving, attentive care for our infant son -Following age-appropriate routines for feeding, naps, and play -Supporting developmental milestones through play and engagement -Light baby-related tasks (food, baby laundry, tidying play areas) -Communicating clearly with parents about daily activities and needs Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who: -Has experience caring for infants (professional or long-term family experience preferred) -Lives nearby or within a reasonable commute -Is seeking a long-term position with a family -Is proactive, dependable, and nurturing -Is open to growing with our family as our needs evolve Schedule & Compensation -Flexible for a part-time start, with a planned transition to full-time by mid-March. -Competitive hourly rate based on experience -Paid time off and holidays to be discussed for the full-time role We’re excited to find someone who will become an important part of our family and support our son’s growth during this important stage!Nanny job details
