Part-Time Evening Mother’s Helper (Mon–Wed, 4:30–7:30) We are a warm, busy family with two young children (ages 5 and 2) seeking a reliable, kind, and energetic evening mother’s helper. This is a hybrid role that includes both childcare and light household support, depending on the needs of the evening. Our primary goals are to reduce screen time for our kids in the late afternoon/evening and to create a calmer, more manageable bedtime routine for our family. Responsibilities may include: - Engaging children in play, activities, or outdoor time while a parent cooks or finishes work - Assisting with dinner routines and table setting - Light kitchen cleanup and dishes - Tidying play areas and living room - Helping with bath time or supervising one child while a parent baths the other - Occasional meal prep or lunch packing assistance Schedule: Monday–Wednesday evenings Approximately 4:30–7:30 pm (some flexibility) Ideal candidate: - Comfortable with young children and patient with busy routines - Responsible, reliable, and punctual - Able to take direction but also work independently - Open to occasional weekend/date-night babysitting in the future Experience: High school or college students welcome; prior babysitting experience preferred. Rate negotiable based on experience.
