After-School Helper Needed (San Bruno, Rollingwood) M–F, 3 to 4 hrs/day, Pickup Most Days We’re a family in San Bruno (Rollingwood near the 280/380 interchange) looking for a reliable, upbeat after-school helper for our two girls, Della (5) and Mabel (almost 8). A parent is usually home, and we need consistent support during the aftercare, homework, and dinner window. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3 to 4 hours/day Ideal window: 4:30–8:00 pm (we can adjust slightly to fit the right person). Aftercare runs until 6 pm. We typically pick up around 5 pm and pickup most days is ideal. Primary responsibilities (daily): School pickup most days (school is about an 8-minute drive). We have an extra booster seat. Snacks and after-school transition Monitor homework and keep things moving Dinner support (simple meals or helping with dinner) Cleanup: load dishwasher, wash snack/dinner dishes, wipe counters Basic reset of kid areas (toys, backpacks, light tidying) Occasional, as time allows (not the main focus): Quick sweep of kitchen Occasional mop (not daily) Occasional laundry load (start or fold) What we’re looking for: Calm, confident, and kind with boundaries (one child can be slow to leave aftercare, so consistency matters) Dependable and punctual Not allergic to cats (we have 2, mostly in the garage) References required (and background check preferred) Pay: $32–$38/hr depending on experience and responsibilities Mileage reimbursement for pickup. Guaranteed hours preferred for consistency.
