About this nanny job

We’re a warm, easygoing family in the East Village looking for part-time or full-time childcare support for our two sons: a 3-month-old infant and a 2-year-old toddler. 📍 Location: East Village, Manhattan (easy walk from NYU) 🗓️ Schedule: 3–5 days per week, 9:00am–5:00pm Days and total hours are flexible and negotiable. This role could be a great fit for an NYU graduate student or someone with night classes or a flexible schedule. 👶 About the Role: Primary focus is caring for our infant Our toddler is in full-time school and would only be home on sick days or school closures We handle all school drop-offs and pickups (school is a 10-minute walk) Grandparents also help occasionally, so this is not a high-chaos, two-kid role day-to-day 🧸 Responsibilities Include: Infant care: diapering, bottle feeding, naps, playtime, stroller walks Supporting transitions to solids Occasional toddler care (on sick days / days off from school) Children’s meal prep and laundry Keeping kids’ areas tidy Trips to the library or neighborhood walks 💛 We’re Looking For Someone Who Is: Experienced with infants (and comfortable with toddlers) Warm, calm, reliable, and communicative Comfortable caring for two children at times Able to provide references 🚫 Household Notes: No pets Non-smoking Screen-free environment 📅 Start Date: April If this sounds like a good fit, please comment or message me directly—we’d love to connect!
