Part-Time Family Assistant / Experienced Babysitter (2 afternoons/week) We’re seeking an experienced, organized caregiver to support our family 2 weekday afternoons per week (2:00–8:00 PM). We have a toddler and a baby, and a parent is usually home. Our new baby is arriving ~Feb 1 and we are looking to start this role in mid-March, with paid trials for promising candidates before then. Role breakdown: • Early afternoon (2:00–4:30 PM): • Laundry • Light grocery shopping at nearby stores • Infrequent local errands • Simple meal prep • Late afternoon/evening (4:30–8:00 PM): • Daycare pickup from two nearby locations (baby will start daycare in May) • Must be comfortable driving our car (walking with the kids welcome on nice days) • Dinner support and evening routine • Bottles and family dinner dishes • Light picking up after kids (no deep cleaning) Schedule: Ideally Wednesdays & Thursdays (flexible, but we definitely want one of these days) Requirements: • Strong experience with both infants and toddlers • Comfortable multitasking; quick to learn family routines & identify needs proactively • Valid CA driver’s license; your own vehicle is a plus but not required • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. • Ability to pass a background check Nice to have: ability to cook and follow selected recipes beyond basic cooking (6-10 ingredients, 30-60 minutes of time). Pay & extras: • $32–$40/hour, depending on experience • Consistent schedule in a friendly household • Welcome to eat dinner with us • Optional additional babysitting hours available
