About this nanny job

We’re looking for a full-time nanny to care for our daughter in our home. We’re a kind, communicative family with one young child, and another on the way. Our goal is to find a long-term caregiver who feels like a true partner in caring for our children as our family grows. Both parents work full-time. What the role looks like: • Immediate care for our 15-month-old daughter • Over time, the role would expand to include care for our newborn once she reaches 6 months old in November 2026 • We’re hoping to find someone excited about growing with our family What we’re looking for: • Experience caring for infants and toddlers • Warm, attentive, and developmentally minded • Comfortable planning age-appropriate activities (play, reading, outdoor time at a park or library, etc.) • Reliable, punctual, and proactive • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified) • Comfortable with light child-related tasks (meals, tidying play areas) Schedule & location: • Full-time, weekdays from 8:30am - 4:30pm • Long-term preferred • Berkeley, CA Compensation: • Competitive, commensurate with experience • Guaranteed hours + paid time off • Position is paid on payroll (W-2), not cash
