Overview We are a warm, organized family in New Canaan, CT seeking an energetic, reliable, and compassionate part-time nanny to support our three children (ages 7, 5, and 3). Our oldest child is neurodivergent, so comfort working with neurodiverse children is important. One parent will always be present in the home, and this is a collaborative, supported role. Compensation: $35+ hour depending on experience and fit. Role 1: Morning “School Prep” Nanny Hours: 7:00–9:00 AM or 7:30–8:30 AM, up to 5 weekdays (Monday–Friday) Ideal for: College or graduate students, or early risers looking for consistent morning hours Responsibilities • Help the children get dressed and ready for school • Prepare healthy school lunches • Create a positive and energetic start to the day • Work alongside parents to keep mornings running smoothly What We’re Looking For • Punctual, dependable, and proactive • High-energy with a calm, supportive presence • Comfortable working with a neurodiverse child • Able to multitask in a busy household environment Role 2: Afternoon “Play & Bedtime” Nanny Hours: 3:00–7:00 PM, Tuesday & Thursday Ideal for: Students or caregivers who enjoy active play and structured evening routines Responsibilities • Engage the children in fun, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities • Support the afternoon and early evening routine (playtime, bath time, pajamas) • Help with bedtime wind-down • Work collaboratively with parents during the evening transition What We’re Looking For • Energetic, playful, and patient • Experience managing multiple children and bedtime routines • Comfortable working with a neurodiverse child • Reliable transportation to New Canaan & willing to pick up one kid in caregivers car How to Apply Please email us with: • A brief summary of your childcare experience (including any experience with neurodiversity or autism, if applicable) • Your availability in this format: – Days of week available – Earliest start time – Latest end time • A short response (3–5 sentences) to this question: One of the children is refusing to get dressed and is becoming increasingly upset.
