About this nanny job

We’re a warm, easygoing family looking for a reliable, proactive nanny to help care for our 13-month-old daughter, Nina. She’s curious, active, and loves exploring, so we’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with little ones and helping them learn through play. The role would start the last week of April (Nina will be 13 months), and we’re not in a rush, we really want to find the right fit. We’re open to doing a few paid trial days so Nina can get comfortable and everyone can ease into the routine. What we’re looking for: • Experience caring for infants and young toddlers • Someone who takes initiative and thinks a step ahead • Enjoys planning simple, age-appropriate activities and play (I’m happy to provide materials and ideas, would love to get some ideas as well, things like taping pom-poms to the wall, using pipe cleaners through a strainer, sensory play, etc.) • Able to keep Nina on her daily rhythm (naps, bottles/meals, playtime) • Comfortable taking walks and outings (library, neighborhood walks, fresh air time) • Focused on keeping Nina engaged, entertained, and feeling safe • Dependable, communicative, and genuinely enjoys working with children A bit about the role: • My husband works night shifts some days, so on those days we’ll need help while he sleeps • On the days he works, I’ll be working from home and will need support during the day • We value someone who feels confident stepping in and helping without constant direction • Light household help while Nina sleeps (tidying, baby laundry, dishes) or small errands while I’m home is appreciated • CPR/First Aid certification and references are preferred We’re looking for someone warm, engaging, and attentive who can become a trusted part of our routine and build a strong, loving bond with Nina.
