We’re looking for a reliable after-school babysitter / parent’s helper for our 9-year-old (3rd grade) in Rye. This is a recurring, part-time role with a predictable schedule — ideal for someone who enjoys working with elementary-aged kids and wants steady afternoon hours. What you’ll do: - Pick up our child from school in Rye - Drive home or to nearby activities - Supervise afternoons (snacks, play, downtime) - Create a calm, safe, and positive environment Must-haves: - Own car + clean driving record - Experience with school-aged children - Dependable and communicative - Strong references that we can speak with Schedule details: - 2–3 set weekdays per week (to be agreed in advance) - 2:30–6:30pm (school pick-up time is 3pm or 4:15pm depending on the day) - Occasional flexibility appreciated with notice Pay: - Competitive hourly rate, based on experience If you’re looking for a steady after-school role and enjoy building a routine with one family, we’d love to connect.
