Nanny Wanted – Nurturing, Engaging, & Invested in Early Childhood Development Location: Madrona, Seattle Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 days a week ideally starting at 8:30-9am. We are open to Full Time too for the right person! Pay: $30–$35/hr, depending on experience Start date: ASAP Hi! We’re Chris and Kaylin, and we’re looking for a thoughtful, experienced nanny to care for our 19-month-old daughter, Zoe! We hope to find someone who can join our family for the long term. We’re open to full-time (30–35 hours per week) or a flexible part-time schedule to accommodate your availability. About Zoe: Zoe is an happy, curious, and observant toddler who thrives on interaction, play, and exploring the world around her. She loves music, outdoor adventures, and learning through everyday experiences. She’s fascinated by people, animals, and nature, and she’s developing her unique personality every day. Who We’re Ideally Looking For: -3+ years of professional nannying or early childhood education experience -Background in child development or education is a plus -Engaging, patient, proactive, and emotionally intelligent -Strong communication skills and attention to detail -Punctual, reliable, with dependable transportation and a valid license -Comfortable with light tidying related to Zoe’s care (dishes, bottles, toys, her laundry) -Open to occasional evening or weekend care for date nights -Must love dogs – our 75-lb gentle giant, Freddie, is part of the family and loves interacting with Zoe Able to provide references from previous nanny roles -If you are able to take on a house manager role - helping to clean up after our daughter, helping with dishes, laundry, occasional food shopping, and general house upkeep that is a major bonus! About Us: We’re a friendly, easy-going, and understanding family. Kaylin works part-time from home, usually in her basement office, and I work from home one day a week (typically Friday) and am available if needed. Zoe loves our sweet, gentle dog Freddie, who mostly lounges and enjoys family time. We live within walking distance to parks, coffee shops, and local shops, making stroller walks and neighborhood adventures easy and fun.
