About this nanny job

Brooklyn family seeking a fun, reliable after-school caregiver for 20–23 hours a week. We’re looking for a warm, professional person to bring calm, structure, and good energy to our weekday afternoons. This is a true part-time role, great for someone with strong childcare experience who is now in grad school or pursuing another project and wants a steady schedule without full-time hours. Our daughter is a bright, confident, and strong-willed 3rd grader with an active routine, and we’re hoping to find someone who can set clear boundaries, manage transitions smoothly, and genuinely enjoy engaging with her. Daily responsibilities include school pick-up, activity drop-offs, homework support, light meal prep, and easy tidying related to our daughter. We’re looking for someone dependable, proactive, and excellent with time management, ideally someone who has supported busy families and thrives in that rhythm. We do have a dog, so comfort around pets is important. Occasional extra hours may be available when we have evening work commitments.
