About this nanny job
We are seeking an experienced, attentive, and engaging caregiver to provide part-time, in-home care for our 12-month-old daughter. Care will take place in our home while at least one parent is working from home at all times. Our daughter is crawling, pulling up, and actively working on walking, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on and alert, with the ability to closely monitor her movement and play. Responsibilities include: • Engaging our daughter in age-appropriate play and language development using toys and books we provide • Closely supervising mobility and play to ensure safety • Changing diapers (at least 2 per shift) • Feeding one parent-prepared meal per shift and monitoring feeding • Offering water, snacks, or a bottle as needed • Putting baby down for her afternoon nap (typically 1.5–2 hours) • Monitoring nap time using the baby monitor Ideal candidate: • Has prior experience caring for infants or young toddlers • Is attentive, patient, and comfortable staying active and engaged • Enjoys reading, playing, and supporting early language development • Reliable and comfortable working in a home with parents present Snacks and drinks will be provided during shifts.
