Thank you for considering us! We are seeking a long term nanny for our baby girl born Jan 1, 2026. Ideally looking for a ramp up schedule, 1-2x per week to start (spring/early summer) and then 3-4x per week starting August 2026 when mom goes back to work. Timing is very flexible! Mom will be working from home through end of year; Dad is mostly out of the house for work but a flexible schedule. We are a family of 3 plus two very loving 8 year old cats, Hans and Franz. Start: early April, with some flexibility Initial Schedule (before mom back to work): Monday-Friday 1-2x per week to start, schedule varies. Can guarantee 16-18 hours/week if needed. Use this time to get to know baby and home, help out first time mom with childcare responsibilities. Long Term Schedule (post mom back to work): Tuesday-Thursday 3x per week always needed (likely 7am-4pm), guaranteed 27 hours/week. Option to add Mon and Fri ad-hoc as needed if fits with your schedule too! Compensation: $30-38 per/hr (based on experience), 5 paid sick days per year (2.5 for six months), and federal holidays when they fall on work day Location: Woodinville, Cottage Lake neighborhood (8-10 minutes from freeway) Responsibilities: Provide infant care (change diapers, put her down for naps), Engage in stimulating and developmental play, Take on outdoor walks, Track and manage schedule, Complete baby laundry as necessary, Keep nursery tidy, Make food Requirements: Non-smoker, CPR/first aid trained, Comfortable with pets/cats (formal pet care not required) Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years experience, Degree or coursework in early childhood education, Newborn care specialist training
