About this nanny job

MUST GET PAID LEGALLY VIA PAYROLL We are looking for a long term nanny to provide child care to our 3 yr old and 3 month old. Position is for 40 hours a week at $30-35/hr. We are looking for someone who is experienced in one-on-one child care, infant care, is punctual, caring, organized and fun. Typical day is 8 – 4 pm, some variations depending on the day with occasional 7.30am starts. Max 8.5hrs a day. One parent works from home full time, the other occasionally. No travel is required. Leaving the house not required except for neighborhood walks. Job duties include: • Arriving punctually and physically attentive to child • Maintaining a safe home environment and supervising children throughout work hours • Engaging with children during the work day including playing with, reading books to, singing to and nurturing to assist their learning , growth and speech development. • Preparing and feeding children meals including meals and milk. • Cooking homecooked meals and purées and family meal dinner prep • Putting children to sleep for daytime naps • Regular changing diapers and changing clothes as needed • Assist in child learning potty training • Support cleaning, tidying and sanitizing of items related to child (eg. pacifiers, toys, child laundry, clothes) • Maintain and keep areas of play (childs room, living space and outdoor play area) tidy and organized at end of the day • Record brief notes of daily activities and meals to share with parents • Hold and maintain CPR and First Aid certification WE WILL PAY ON THE BOOKS THROUGH PAYROLL – NOT NEGOTIABLE.
