Paid via cashAbout this nanny job
I’m posting on behalf of a family in Washington, DC with a newborn (born late September) who is looking for a part-time nanny/sitter to join them long-term. (I'm their personal assistant). They'd love to find someone with strong infant experience who is open to occasional daytime or evening support - typically only a few times a month. There isn't a set schedule, but they can provide 1-2 weeks’ notice for each need. This is a great fit for someone who values flexibility and isn’t looking for guaranteed weekly hours. What they're looking for: Experience with infants (bottles, naps, soothing, routines) CPR/First Aid certified Up-to-date vaccines (TDAP, flu, COVID) Excellent communication + reliability Comfortable building a long-term relationship with one family Able to come to their home (no out-of-home care at this time) LGBTQ+ friendly 🤍 Nice-to-have, not required: Newborn/doula or early childhood experience Familiarity with infant sleep habits In rare cases, help with daycare drop-off or pick-up (only if schedules conflict) If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to learn more about you! Could you share: -Your experience with newborns -Your general availability & hourly rate -Certifications (CPR/First Aid, vaccines) -If you're comfortable with occasional daytime and evening support Feel free to include a resume or references if you have them! Looking forward to hearing from you.Nanny job details
