We are a working couple looking for a responsible, high-energy, and reliable caregiver to join our team long-term. We have two active children (ages 5 and 1) and are looking for someone who can jump right in, build a great bond with them, and become a consistent part of our weekly routine. The schedule • Total hours: 12–17 hours per week. • Weekday routine: 2-3 days a week (pickups starting at 4:30 pm). • Weekends: Potential for additional hours (flexible based on mutual availability). • Note: Start times may occasionally shift, so flexibility is a plus. Key responsibilities • Daycare pickups: Safely walking the kids from daycare to our home (6 blocks walk). • Active play: Engaging the kids in age-appropriate, high-energy activities. No “screen-time” sitters please. • Meal preparation: Preparing simple, nutritious dinners and managing the children’s evening mealtime. • Bedtime routine: A brief wind-down process, showers, and getting the kids settled into bed. • Growth: We are looking for someone interested in taking on increasing levels of responsibility as the relationship grows. The ideal candidate • Punctual and consistent: Reliability is our top priority. • High energy: Ability to keep up with a 5-year-old and a 1 year-old toddler simultaneously. • Long-term mindset: We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our family for a year or more. • Experience: Previous experience with toddlers and school-aged children is required.
